I haven't been regularly reading the boards for a year (too busy and no trips planned -- used to read them faithfully every day). Anyway, we are thinking about doing the FT package in the fall. I know that in the past many of you did not have good things to say about Carribean Beach. I remember reading that it looked worn, etc., but I also remember reading that they were renovating. How is it now? The $1,283.79 I've seen advertised would be a great price. (As much as I would like to go back to the Poly, trying to keep the cost of this trip down) Also, I know I've read it is a long walk to food court, buses. What building should I request to be close to both food and buses? Thanks for any help!

CBR is in great shape. The rooms and Old Port Royale have been refurbished. It is a great place to stay. I suggest you read the thread below.

You will find other that have great things to say about CBR.

We love CBR. Stay there most every trip. It is not very far to the food court unles you are in Trinadad South. Each area has it's own bus stop. You should love it.

We stayed at CBR in December and loved it! Even if you have a long walk to Old Port Royal, it is a very pretty walk!
