Why don't I even see much on the Caribbean beach Resort here? It was my first choice with the cute beach theme but we really want the boat to DTD each nite.

Any CBR lover here? I thought the rooms are bigger there also?

We stayed at CBR our first visit to the World in 2003, just after they refurbished the rooms...we loved it! I would have stayed there again, but DH wanted to try "something new".

Yes, I talked the DH into a birthday trip for me with the free dining. I can't believe it either, WDW twice in one year. And we live so far away when we are out here. It is only 4 hours from our Fl. house but we are never there anymore.

I had the hardest time with the resort as I wanted to stay at CBR but DH needs the boat to DTD for the DS and you know why.

But yes, in 1/4 of a year I get to go back and this time for 6 days, not just 4!

Thanks for the great photos. Although we are staying at POFQ DH has agreed to look at other resorts for our next trip. Maybe we can just try every resort and then we will know for sure which one we like best. How many trips would that be? Humm, no values, humm. Just kidding.

Can't wait to be at POFQ but hope to see CBR soon.

We are CBR lovers. We spent 8 nights/9 days there in May & fell in love with it!!!! No more POP for us!! We really liked POP the 3 times we were there, but just fell in love with CBR.

By the way, the other moderates' rooms are 314 sq. ft., CBR's are 340 sq. ft.

I love the theming at CBR. I also think that because CBR is so large and spread out it makes the resort seem quieter and more peaceful.

We stayed at CBR twice, and when we go back in November we're going to POFQ, not because we don't love CBR, but because we want to see what else there is to offer.

We love CBR too -- after staying at WL and AKL, we thought they'd be hard to beat -- but CBR is our new favorite -- in fact, we're going back there in 2007!

DH and I are CBR lovers!!! In fact, he has a hard time thinking of staying anywhere else except CBR!!! I always get so sad when I see people talk about how much they hate it, B/c we think it is a GREAT resort!!!

We love CBR. DH will not stay at any other Mod. I would like to try a few of the other Mods, but he keeps saying "No, way!" It is sooo romantic. I think it is so awesome, you could actually stay there at the resort and have a wonderful trip without going to the parks. DH has been 'talking' about making a suprise trip in Sept.. I had just let it go when last night he told me that he ACTUALLY called Disney Visa to find out how many rewards we had. I about had a heart attack. He mentioned a stay at CBR and 2 nights at GF. I won't hold my breath. It would be so awesome to go back to CBR.

I am so glad to hear all this!! We are going again in January and we have decided to do a moderate. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in March and LOVED it, but we want to try something new, so I am thinking Caribbean Beach would be great. Sounds like a fun resort. How's the pool? Is there a slide?

The pool is fine, good theming, not real big though. There's a slide that will be fine for your kids -- mine (14 and 11) found it a little tame. But they loved the quiet pools and everything a ton too! It's really a great resort!

We love the CBR. We tried a couple of others but none measured up to the CBR. The themeing is great, it makes you feel like you're relly on vacation. All the CM's are great. Housekeeping is great. There's not one thing that we dislike about this resort. We're afraid to try another mod. and why bother changing something that doesn't need changing as far as we're concerned.

CBR IS THE BEST RESORT EVER!!!

We love CBR! We love the beautiful tropical themeing, the white sandy beaches with ducks and hammocks, the large size rooms with two double sinks, and the many pools to swim. We like the food court and the gift shop and have always had good luck with the bus service. The CM's are always friendly and housekeeping does a great job. We have received towel animals every vacation. We tried staying at another moderate and my daughters hated it, they wanted to be at CBR. So anytime we go, I automatically book CBR and everyone is happy.

DH and I were talking about the resorts last night. We have toured all the deluxes and mods. We have stayed a quite a few of the deluxes also. Our favorite has to be CBR. I guess with so many resorts at WDW, you have soooo many choices. Many want to try them all. DH is just the opposite, he only wants to stay at CBR, GF or POLY. He wants to do a split stay between the CBR and GF/POLY. The CBR just such a nice resort. The rooms are huge!!!! The landscape was very tropical. We didn't mind the short walk across the bridge to the gift shop/food court. DH especially loved the hamocks on the beach and being able to relax after driving 16 hours. I would not hesitate to stay there again. It was awesome. YOu can also rent the water mice and bikes there. The main pool was very busy, but we went in July. The quiet pools were fantastic though. It was nice to hop in the water after putting a load of laundry in, the laundry is right there at the quiet pools. I am talking myself into a trip!!!!

I am so happy to hear such great reviews of this resort. This is my first Disney Resort stay and I picked CBR as a way to go to disney and experience some of the caribbean feel. Just a question for some of you, what do you mean when you say "quiet pools"? Which pools do you mean when you say this? I am leaving in 11 days which means I will be there for the 4th of July so the "quiet pools" would be ideal for me.
