CBR which is better? building 22 or 24?

Which building would you say is better? I know 24 is preferred but is it that much further to the food court then 22? How long of a walk from 22 vs 24? I am thinking of paying for water/pool view and requesting closest to pool and walkway to food court in building 22. Just curious if anyone thinks that is a good choice or if I should just pay for the preferred and stay closest to the food court and main pool. THANKS!

I would never pay for a water view since Disney's idea of a water view could be a pool, a fountain or a lake. I'd save the money and book a standard room unless you really need or want a room near Old Port Royale. We've stayed in Building 22 and the walk to the food court was about 5 minutes. As a matter of fact, our walks from almost all standard rooms was about 5 minutes. The longest walk was from one of the furthest buildings in Barbados and it was about 6 1/2-7 minutes.
