We are staying at the CBR - Aruba, can anyone tell me where the best rooms are located. We requested water front and we found out on this site, that you can call the hotel 3 days in advance to request your rooms. The problem is the haven't stayed there before and we don't know what to ask for. Thanks for everyones help in advance.

But I would ask for Aruba 51 as that is closest to the bridge that leads to the Centertown where all the food courts are.;) (Thats what I have read on these boards anyway).:o

safetymom has a CBR FAQ thread on this board that will probably answer your question. It was a great help when I was planning my stay there. :)

I have stayed at CBR several times and we always ask for Jamaica because it is quiet and yet not a far walk from OPR/main pool. Plus we love the walk over the bridge, it is a romantic and very scenic route.
Actually, Jamaica 45 is right at the bridge and so your walk across would only be about 3-4 min. It is a great resort and I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have.

Check out my photos from my trip last summer.

Click on "Travel" to see photos. The room pictures are of Jamaica 4253 which was a King room on the first floor. It was a courtyard/garden view and was close to parking, bus and a short walk to a quiet pool.

Have fun there!
