CBR vs. YC?

DW & I are going to a convention at the YC in August. We are arriving 1 day early and I booked a room for a single night at CBR using a codes for a $94 rate. The final convention registration material just arrived and they have arranged a group rate for additional nights at the YC for $150+tax ($166.50) so we could do that instead. We have only stayed at POR before and was interested in checking out another moderate but that seems like a very good rate for the YC and then we would not have to switch hotels. I would be interested in opinions from people who have stayed both places.

I'd personally go for the Yacht Club! I think rate rate during August is $289 + taxes, so you had an EXCELLENT rate!

While not moving form one room to another is nice, I personally can't go to WDW and stay in one place the whole time. I think a night at the CBR would be great, particularly since you want to check out the other moderates. this is the perfect way to do it. i have stayed at both the CBR and YC and like both alot.

I would go with the YC because it is an awesome resort!

I've stayed at CBR, and I think I'd skip and go to the YC. CBR is an okay resort, but that's a great rate for YC, and that resort is definitely better.

Id say Yacht club!! That is as good as a CM rate!! You can not compare CBR with Yc!! Have a great time!! If you dont mind me asking when in Aug?? (Im going in Aug and wonder if it will be buisy with a convention )

I would take the $150 at the YC if it is in your budget. The YC is great and the location cannot be beat. Also you will not have to switch resorts which is also a plus in my view. $150 is a great rate.
