CBR vs CSR

I'm booked at CSR currently and have wanted to stay there forever because of favorable reports. I can't help thinking that CBR's pool looks much better though...with the zero entry and kids little aquatic playground and slide. Am I concerned over nothing? I think CSR's rooms do look nicer generally. My 2 year old and six year old don't care about theming in the hotel honestly. Anywhere at Disney is fine with them. Not sure if one has better restaurants than the other. Would you keep the original res? They're the same price. Thought about doing split stay since we have APs, and it wouldn't affect any free dining since we're not doing that. Seems like it could be a lot of extra work and would affect FPs though (As in having to wait a few extra days to pick for second stay). Ugh.

HI! I've stayed at both and loved CSR!!!! The theming at CBR was a little lost on me because I'm from Florida, but both resorts are beautiful.... I would go for where YOU think would be best for your kids...maybe the pool at CBR would be better at this age....

I really like the look of the renovated CBR rooms. I would watch the youtube videos on each and decide. I can never really judge by the few photos on the disney website.

You will not be disappointed with the pool at CSR.

I'm not sure which rooms are renovated. I'm sure they would renovate all of them, I just don't know when they started/finished.

All are renovated except the Pirate rooms.
