CBR to Magic Kingdom???

Gotta question.....We have a rental car and will be staying at Caribbean Beach Resort...I've read somewhere on this board that its easier to use the resort transportation instead of driving over and parking.... Is this true?? and if we do drive over how early should we leave the resort if we want to be at the gate by 9am??

Anyone have any suggestions????

Thanks for any help you can give me....this is our first trip to the world with DH and 2 DS....grandparents thought it would be fun to go with us to experience Mickey through a childs eyes...wish me luck!!

Personally I find it much easier to take our car when at WDW. Quite a few times we have parked at Epcot and taken the monorail to MK.

There is a huge advantage to using Disney transportation when going to MK. Disney buses will drop you off right at the entrance to MK. If you drive you have to park at the TTC and take a monorail or ferry to MK.

Christy, i totally agree with XS. It would be to your advantage (as far as i am concerned) that you use the bus to MK from CBR. You will be transported directly to the park entrance and won't have to worry about the crowds at the TTC. We stayed at CBR in 2002 and the buses ran quite frequently and for the most part, not very crowded. Hope you enjoy CBR, it is a beautiful resort

One thing to keep in mind is that most of the time, guests will be held back at the TTC until 8:45-8:50. Guests using the resort buses will be dropped off right at the MK Gates.

We stayed at CBR last June and used the bus system exclusively. We never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for a bus and would arrive at our destination in about the same amount of time. No complaints at all about WDW buses!

We were there over Thanksgiving and had no problems with the busses. Used them exclusively and never waited more than 15 minutes I think. We loved CBR!!!!

we just got back this morning from disney stayed at cbr

we waited any where from a few minutes to max about 25 minutes for our busess- and this was peak season!!!!

have fun!!!! i'm already planning our nest trip

Does this mean that if we are going for the EMH at MK, it will not be possible to drive and then take the monorail from TTC since we will be held back?

You will have to show your resort ID at the gate to get on a monorail. They may only be running the resort monorail at this time.

Have any of you used the CBR buses for EMH at the resorts? I was wondering if the buses got you there in time for the EMH start.
