CBR to Cape May to DHS

I'll be at CBR next week and have scheduled at 7:55 character breakfast at Cape May for my sons 6th birthday. When we finish we will be headed to DHS and hope to sign him up for the Jedi Training Academy. I know we need to get to DHS as quickly as possible to get him in.

My original plan was to drive to Cape May and then to DHS for faster transportation. I may not have a car available now. If I have no car, what would be the quickest way to DHS from Cape May? I know they have busses and boats, but the boats seem pretty slow to me. Is a taxi a possibility or is that a bad idea? Thanks for any insight you can offer.

You should be able to take a cab from your resort over to YC/BC for about $10. Then when you're done eating, you can either take a cab to DHS or walk. Walking will take about 20 mins. A cab will obviously be faster...should take about 5 mins to get there in a cab.
The boats are slow. First, you have to wait for them, and then once on the boat, it is about a 15-20 min ride to DHS from YC/BC.

For most of the parks (EP, AK & HS) they drop you off fairly close to the main entrance. Taxis going to MK must drop off at TTC, where you will then need to hop on a ferry or monorail.

You can take a taxi to CR and walk over to MK, faster than going to the TTC and then ferrying or monorail to MK.
