CBR to boardwalk

is it physically possible to walk from carribean beach to the boardwalk?

Not really. There are no sidewalks and you would be walking along a very busy road where drivers are not expecting walkers.

trying to book a moderate or a value for one night for the night we arrive.
which would be the closest (taxi fare - wise) to the boardwalk?

CBR is closest mod - I belive Pop Century will be closest value

You could have your luggage transferred by Disney. Then take a bus to MGM and boat or walk to Boardwalk.

I would say a cab fare could be anywhere from $10-$15 depending on tip and your driver...

When we stayed at CBR we either:

1) Bus to MGM, boat to the Boardwalk, and depending on the time of night, either boat back to MGM or bus to DTD, then a bus to CBR

2) Bus to DTD, Bus to Boardwalk, Bus to DTD, bus to CBR
