I am not sure where to post this, We are booked at the CBR for 7 nights but we want to go to universal studios for 2 days, I would like to get some information on how far it is from cbr to universal??? I would be happy to spend all 8 days with the mouse but dh wants to go to universal. I am trying to decied if it would be better just to book a room closer to universal or stay at disneny

I think i read if you stay onsite at universal that you get front of the line passes.

I've visited Universal while staying at CBR and it was about 15-20 minute ride. I never had problems with long waits for rides, but you may want to consider staying onsite at Universal for front of the line access, especially during a busy period. You can stay at Universal your 1st 2 nights, then stay at CBR for 5 nights.

Not to add to the overall cost of your trip, but FOTL is awesome...well worth the cost of a night at a Universal Hotel. The Royal Pacific is in the Ent. Book program, so you may be able to get it for $100 p. night. Here's the thing, you receive your FOTL priveledges as soon as you check into your hotel, until midnight the day you check out. You will only have to stay one night. We even kept our room at ASMU (had a great rate of $59) booked 1 night at RPR and just brought overnight bags and did USO mid -trip. It was well worth it for the $ for one night to us for FOTL and not having to pack/unpack and then pack again to go home. I know most will think we are crazy, but it was far more relaxing for us that way. Plus, we knew if we didn't care for USO our room was waiting at ASMU. We loved USO too tho!
