CBR requests

hi everyone...
i saw there are different places to request while staying in the CBR....Im going with a friend..were both 19...we want to be somewhere thats not too far of a walk..but i was also wondering if certain buildings were geared more towards kids, t eenagers, families or what...if so, we want to try to be around people our age, but dont know if they have it separated like that..thanks!!

I don't know that they gear buildings towards any age group but you can ask at check in or call them before you leave if you have a special request. I know that Martinque-buildings 24,25 & 26 and Trinidad North-buildings 31,32 & 33 are probally the closest to Port Royal, which has the food court, the main pool and shops. We have stayed in Aruba-building 51 because we liked crossing the bridge to get over to Port Royal, it was very pretty and they would play the Carribean music through speakers (although Disney has had alot of cutbacks, so I don't know if they still do that). Anyway if you go to www.allearsnet.com and click on Accomodations then on the left side go down to Carribean Resort and click on "photos" and from there click on "resort map" and this will give you the layout of the land. Have fun!!

O.K. I am adding to this because I just realized right here on The Dis they have a much better map. I must be brain dead for not looking here first. Anyway, go to the home page of the Dis Boards and all the way to the left it says "Dis Home Page", from there click on Disney Hotels (will be on left side), from there click on Moderate hotels then click on Carribean Beach then click on "resort map". This map is much bigger and easier to read. O.K. now Have Fun

CBR buildings are all the same inside. The colors of the buildings outside are different. Trinidad North and Martinique are the preferred locations which cost extra daily to stay there.

The walks in CBR aren't that bad. It is very pretty so you have plenty to look at as you walk.

I don't think the walks are that long. I have pictures and a map up on my website listed below. Also you should read through the CBR FAQ listed below. It contains lots of good information on CBR.
