CBR refill mug has the year printed on it.

Is this a new thing now? I just bought 3 new CBR mugs when we stayed there (June '03) and I just noticed on our last day that it has the year on it "2003-2004." Then we stayed at CSR and also purchased a mug and it didn't have a year on it. When we stayed at the ASSp (April '03) we bought 3 as well and no year on them.

Maybe they are going to start selling mugs with the year printed on it. I guess this is one way to track down who is using the mugs from the previous years.

Uh Oh ~ now people will have to think of a way to cover the old years and add the new ones (paint, nail polish, magic marker?)

The whole family can get together and make it a craft project.

Ahh,, that's interesting. They may start doing that with all the new mugs then. Actually, it would be kinda kewl to have your mug dated.

Yep, the year is printed on both sides. You can't miss it, it's not near the handle, it's more towards the front.

I'm thinking that eventually all the Disney resort mugs will start updating their mugs with the year printed on them.

I can see people putting those free Disney stickers all over their mugs ... that way you can even take them with you to another resort.

Thanks for the update. I was there in May the day before they changed the mugs. They didn't have the date on them then.

It might make them more collectable if they have the date on them.

I like the date idea. We only have five mugs, one from ASM and four from POFQ. They are great travel coffee mugs for the car. I didn't get one from the Swan/Dolphin as we were concierge level and only bought a few pops from Tubbi's the couple of nights we needed a burger run at 1am. This year I gave my DH a vacation from his mugman duties!
