Amazing pics and love the CBR theme. :goodvibes We might be switching our ressie and wondering how many slides are at the pools and how long are they---what's the deepest part of the pool?

TIA

The children's pool has 3 slides. The main pool has 2 slides - one is shorter and open, the other is longer and enclosed - tube-like. Not sure of the length of them.

The pool is probably 4-5 feet deep at the deepest parts. Not exactly sure. Maybe you should ask over on the CBR FAQ, someone probably knows over there!

Let me think... I believe the deepest part (which is only like in the center drain) was about 4'11". That's in the main pool. There are many shallow areas where my kids could just walk around. But other areas were like 4'5" and 4'9" and stuff. Some parts are like 3' and 4'. Also there's a zero entry section.
The quiet pool in Barbados was also good because even my youngest (6) could walk in the beginning part as it was 3' and then got to 4'. Also other 4' something numbers. But then it goes up down the end and I believe that went to 5". You could tell the sections good, and the numbers are well marked on the pools.

We are back from another glorious stay at the CBR. Sad to leave! I am in the process of uploading all of my picture to photobucket right now. The only thing that I really didn't get to take pictures of was the main pool slides. I'll post all pictures as soon as I can.

Great can't wait to see them :cool1::cool1:

Thank you for the pics. It is very helpful for my daughters to be able to see and discuss where we will be staying, what the room will look like, where they will sleep, etc. Especially for my youngest, who cried all night the first night of our hotel stay on a trip we took. That was NOT fun. We are going to be at CBR in just over two weeks, and I am very excited!:yay:

Does anybody have a picture of the king bed rooms? For our honeymoon (which is coming up!) we requested a king sized bed, and it's on our confirmation. Dunno if that means that we'll actually *get* the request, but it'd be nice to see what the room looks like in advance.

I'm curious! Thanks a lot :)

Is that a bounceback offer I see on the table?

There was a bounceback offer on the table. It only went through December, 2009 so I didn't pay a lot of attention to it. I do have it in my stuff at home. Let me know if you want details and I'll see what I can do.

These pictures were taken from right outside our door:

These were taken on our arrival day. We didn't have too much time to kill before we were to eat at the new T-Rex restaurant. I'll have more to post later.

We walked over to Old Port Royale to check out the store. Along the way, we took these:

We made a few purchases and were going to take pictures of the main pool but it was sooooo crowded and we were anxious to head to DTD. Here's one picture of the kid section of the pool:

I have many many more pictures of the resort grounds and buildings. Just let me find them and I'll post those for you.

Thanks but not necessary. I'll be there in 10 days. I was just curious because they offered a free dining bounceback last year when we were there. That's how we booked this trip. I guess they're concentrating more on the immediate future and getting those bookings up.

Thanks for posting your pics! I get more and more excited each time I see a new picture! It is such a pretty place. It looks very relaxing! :thumbsup2 I am waiting for the next set of pics!

The next morning, we were all up bright and early. While the kids were still getting ready, John and I walked around a bit and I took pictures.

This tree is growing near the outside eating area of Old Port Royale. It had some kind of fruit growing on it:

I think I have more pictures of the main pool somewhere. If I find them, I'll post 'em.
