CBR parking pass question...

We are going in Oct, and our neighbors will be there at the same time. They are flying, staying at CBR, no rental car. We are driving, staying at POR.

My question is, does CBR require vehicles to have a parking pass to get into, and park at the resort? I am asking because we will probably end up driving our neighbors around some, since we'll be hanging out together. If we have to take them back to their resort, and want to visit with them for a while, will I need a parking pass? If so, can I get one? Will they be able to get one to give to us?

Just wondering.

Thanks,
Andy

I know at the Poly they will give you a temporary parking pass, not sure about CBR...check with the guard at the gate(if there is one). You may have to get a new one everyday when you visit them.

If you are staying at any "disney" resort and you have a parking pass just show it to the person at the resort entrance (booth) and tell them why you are there (eating, visiting friends, checking out the resort, shopping, etc). They will give you a visitor parking pass. For meals and shopping it is usually up to 3 hrs. If you told them you were going to spend the day with your friends at their hotel they might give you more time just ask. I resort hop all the time, when I was there in may/05 I didn't have any trouble.

If they don't have a car why not give them your car information and get the parking pass from them?

Otherwise you will need to show your license every day when you go to enter CBR.

This would be ideal. I didn't know if they could do that or not, since they'll be doing the Magical Express thing. Wasn't sure if that was a separate line at check-in, and if they would get grief over asking for a pass when the CM knew they didn't bring a car.

If it won't be a big deal though, that's what we'll do.

Thanks all,
Andy
