CBR or Wilderness?

Hi everyone,

We are currently booked at the CBR in November. We are going with extended family, and have 3 rooms booked. Having stayed at CBR twice before, I am wondering if it is worth the extra $2,000 (for all 3 rooms) to upgrade? We have never stayed at the Wilderness, or gone at Christmas time, so am very excited to enjoy MVMCP! Would you upgrade? If so why? To be honest, we are a bit tired of the CBR, and having 5 little ones, really am not excited for the CBR. But, $2,000 is a lot of money! Anyone who has stayed at the WL give me your opinions on this? I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions!

OMG!!! To us, the upgrade to the WL would be 100% worth it! We just stayed at WL after having stayed at CBR last year...the two experiences could not have been more different. We absolutely LOVED WL, while we are pretty certain we will never stay at CBR again. With little ones, you will probably enjoy the smaller size of WL, its proximity to MK and the transportation options! We liked having the option to bus to all parks (we don't mind buses) but also to hop on a boat, or boat to monorail if we chose...it was fantastic!!! The theming of WL is soooo much better, IMO but it depends on what you're in to. The WL is totally worth it in our eyes!

Another vote to upgrade if you can swing it! We love WL and all though we have never stayed at Christmas time have been told its spectacular at that time of year. One of the top decorated resorts! We booked early December this year and didn't even consider any other resorts

It is definitely worth it, IMO, to upgrade . We've stayed at both and while we really enjoyed CBR and had a great stay, we love the WL. The WL is beautiful anytime of year, but it is just absolutely gorgeous when decorated for the holidays . It is also more compact than CBR as everything is under one roof and we love having the boat for alternate transportation. I know $2,000 is alot of money, but if it is doable, you won't regret the upgrade. Good luck .

If the extended family is helping pay for the upgrade I would not hesitate.

WL is just beautiful at Xmas. Really has a Xmas feel and love the boat to MK.

Thanks so much everyone, I just called Dis and upgraded to the WL!! I hope when we go, Nov 15th, the resort is decorated! Does anyone know when they put up the decorations?
