CBR or PO????

Help!!! These boards are making me crazy!!! I booked this trip months ago knowing we wanted to stay at Caribbean Beach which is where we stayed the last 3 times we went. We love it there. Now...........I have been reading all these threads and second guessing myself. I am now thinking I may want to switch to the PO. But...what is the difference between Riverside and and French Quarter? We are just two adults........kids are 21 & 22 and not invited!!!!! We have always like the food court at CBR for breakfast.

I think you can't go wrong with either choice. I have stayed at both and prefer CBR.

We always stay at POFQ, we like it there so why go any place else. I say if you like the CBR than stay there, but I think you can't go wrong anywhere.

Well, I'm going to confuse the issue even more....

I've stayed at CBR and POR and I'll be returning next week to POR for the 5th time.....enough said?

Our visit to CBR was very nice - no complaints. I just love the grounds, the secluded bayou area and the food court at POR. If you like the foodcourt at CBR, you'll be in for a real SHOCK at POR - it's twice the size and a whole lot more choices!!!

I'm biased becuase CBR is my favorite moderate resort, so I would just stay there. A lot of things that are reported you just need to take with a grain of salt here (ie different strokes for different folks). Maybe this trip stay at CBR and vist the POR resorts and then next time if you liked the feeling of the POR resorts then schedule your next stay there or do a split stay.

the CBR is where i really want to stay. we have had numerous trips to asmusic and asmovies, had GREAT stay, had a great time, etc. so dont worry im sure you will love either place. i like the looks of CBR thats why iwant to stay. i told myhusband when we hit the lottery just us 2 will stay at the AKL (he wants to stay there)........no kids.........haha

I can understand your frustration. If you look long enough, you'll find pros and cons about everything. I don't think you can go wrong with either of the moderate resorts. We're staying at POR in 11 days, and I read a ton of posts good and bad. Most were good so we'll see what happens. Sounds like you are a frequent visitor and will go back again, so maybe it's time to try something knew, like POFQ or the mansions at POR. Both would be good for couples. More kids at AB section of POR becuase there's trundle beds so five can fit in a room. For me, I like trying new things and would give another resort a shot, but if you want the security of what you already know, go back to CBR. The bottom line is that both will be on the property and nice. Good luck.
