CBR or CSR.......

Have stayed at Coronado before and loved, wanted to try CBR this time.
they layout looks similar in size. Is CBR more spread out...more walking than
Corondo?

I thought we did more walking at CSR. If you are going after Sept. you could try the new pool complex at CBR.

Another vote here for CBR. I can't stand CSR and would never stay there in a million years.

Vote for the CSR. We love it and will be staying for the 7th time in September for our 25th anniversary. We have visited all the moderates and walked the grounds, eaten at food courts/table service, etc. We love the CSR for it's landscaping, grounds, pools (both main and quiet), hot tub, spa and the quietness of the resort. We have no interest in any of the others. If we were to choose one other moderate it would be the POFQ. Did not like POR or the Caribbean at all--too crowded and loud at POR and thought the food court at the Caribbean was horrible.

CBR!!! Not only is it stunning and tropical, but it feels as though your the only one there as it is big enough to get away from all the crowds but not too big. I never found it too big!!

However, I don't think the main pool is scheduled to reopen until Sept. 15?

We stayed in the Jamaica section at CBR and the Cabanas section at CSR. I didn't find it to be much more walking at CBR. It was much more relaxing than CSR because you didn't have to dive off the path every time one of those golf carts came zooming by. We found CBR to be less crowded and more peaceful than CSR as well.

CSR for me! Better food, awesome pool and terrific transportation. CSR also has elevators in every building. CBr has none.

CSR surrounds a 45 acre lake and CSR only a 15 acre lake.

Stayed at both, I prefer CSR.

-I like the lobby, check-in, food court building better. I like that it is all together. I don't like the fact that these are separate at CBR, and that internal bus is a joke.
-I love the Pepper Market!
-I like that CSR only has 4 bus stops, vs. 7 at CBR. I felt like it took forever to get around CBR on your way to and from the parks.

I believe Jamaica is the closest other than having to pay for preferred.

OMG!! That was sooooo our experience. Hated the golf carts!!! I also, did not like having to wait in line to get into the Peppermarket with tired kids after waiting in lines all day. We got our food to go. I will be staying at CBR in October for the second time, can't wait! We so enjoyed our experience at CBR so much more. I can not wait for new pool!

Another vote for CBR! We enjoyed CSR, but the theming at CBR just blew us away - it is SOOO beautiful!

Another vote for CSR! We love this resort. It's a much newer resort with way more amenities.

If the main pool at CBR is still being renovated, I would choose another resort. If the pool is finished, I'd choose CBR. It's so fun trying out new resorts, and different resorts appeal to different people, as you can see. We've stayed at both the CBR and CSR and both are good resorts with different theming.

We love CSR and the theming. I don't care for the Caribbean theme, it just doesn't appeal to me. Also, I remember staying at CBR when it was fairly new (oooh, a Disney hotel for *only* $69/night!) with my church youth group and I remember the bus taking forever to get around to our stop.

We like CSR for the bus service (rarely use our van), love the Pepper Market, love Panchitos store. I've never had a problem with the golf carts on the paths. We like to stay in Cabanas - close to the bus and PM.

Everyone likes their own thing, though. We like CSR, but tried POFQ also. It didn't feel as resort-y as CSR, what others call "cozy" I thought felt cramped. Just depends on your point of view!

Wherever you are, I'm sure you'll have a great vacation!
