Been to Disney lots as a child, went in 2001 and stayed in Holiday Inn Sunspree and went in 2006 with MakeAWish. This will be the first time ever staying on Disney property...
I booked a package with dining for All Star Movies. I have a son who will be 18 and he thought Pop Century was cool, but said he did not care where we stayed or what we ate as long as he got to go to Disney.
I have a special needs daughter who will be 4. She is cognitively advanced, but has physical defects. (VATERS Association...she has multiple holes in her heart/ASD and will be having heart surgery at MUSC in the spring, multicystic kidney/one good one, vertabrae and rib anomalies, had tethered spinal cord surgery, has a feeding tube and RAD, kind of like asthma.) She is very active though...heart of a lion, energy of a pack of labador puppies, and the spirit of a princess, which of course she is.
) She wants to stay at ASMo in the Dalmation part...which I understand to be preferred, near the main building and buses? While she is energetic, she tires easily.
Now am I right in assuming that ASMo is the equivalent of like a Comfort Inn only smaller? We will be sleeping and bathing there and most likely bringing our little one back for a nap in the middle of the day. We will be driving down from SC so we will have our car in addition to Disney transportation...
I was originally going to make reservations at CBR or POFQ...but the only real difference is a little more room, an extra sink and a sitdown restaurant? We will eat something from the CS at the resort, pay out of pocket and use snacks on DDP for breakfast, use our CS for lunches and our TS for dinners...already made ADR!
It would be $500 more to stay at CBR or POFQ, should I pay the extra or use it for souveniers? Are the moderates equivalent to what? A Hyatt?
