I just had to look didn't I. We have free dining at CBR that we upgraded to the reqular dining plan. We also got in on the gift card offer. Only downside is we have a pirate room. 4 pooh sized adults in full size beds! Hoping to upgrade to a regular room. So I was poking around tonight AKL is 50 dollars more!!!!! Really deluxe only 50 more!! But I will lose the 450 dollar's in gift cards. We don't plan on spending much time in the room. Do I switch? Help please.

Switch. AKL is wonderful.

Okay so $50 difference for rooms is nothing, throw that out.

$450 is nothing to sneeze at and am guessing you got the $75 per night so 6 nights.

That is $112.50 per person for you all to have TWO QUEEN BEDS in a much nicer hotel with nicer bathroom and balcony with no construction vs "4 pooh sized adults" in not only full but kinda bunk like mattresses on a platform.

That is $18.75 per person per night ........ YES I would be going to AKL and having a fabulous trip with good sleep.

Disney trips are already expensive, do it the best you can. AND AKL has some GREAT dining options to use your DDP.

Personally, I could not do 4 adults in a studio no matter what. 1 bathroom is difficult with 2 adults and 2 kids. I would just cut over to 2 rooms at a Value resort.

With these 2 constraints, I would switch to AKL. They have a shower and locker facility by the pool that could help with the bathroom situation.

Definitely AKL!! No way I would be able to share a full size bed for that many days, ugh! Besides the beds, the room size is a little larger, I believe. The Lodge is an amazing resort, with so many amenities and beauty all around. IMO, there's no comparison between the two, especially for four adults. Switch and enjoy,

Another vote for AKL. We've stayed at CBR and while we had a great time and loved everything about it, we love the deluxe resorts and AKL is amazing!

A few years ago we stayed in the Cabins. At the time (they might have changed by now) there was a full sized bed in the bedroom. Along with a bunk bed. There was a full sized murphy bed in the living room. We tried to sleep together on the full sized bed. Nope. The most uncomfortable night of sleep I think I have ever had. Way too small for 2 adults. We ended up sleeping in different rooms. My hubby slept out on the murphy bed. My daughter slept in the main bed (it was ridiculously hard) I slept on the bottom bunk. And my son slept on the top bunk. Those mattresses were more comfortable believe it or not. Comfort trumps everything else on the trip. If you are not well rested you will not have a good time.
