Where are the CBR preferred rooms located, are they worth the extra $$? What are they close to? Do you get any special features??

The preferred rooms at CBR are on either side of the "food court area" If you don't have a car they are worth the extra $$. If you are depending wholy on internal bus transportation it will take you a while to get to the food court and back to your room. Same with walking. If you are right across the lake you will be okay but other than that it can be a long walk.

We did preferred in June and loved it.

Trinidad North and Martinique are the preferred villages. I think they are worth the money. I would rather do that than have a water view room.

If you don't want to pay extra then request a room in Jamaica or Aruba. They are across the lake.

No special features except it is a quick walk to the food court and main pool.

The beach at Martinique is a great place to watch Epcot fireworks from.
