CBR in late January 04 - 2 questions

Hi. I'm planning a 5-day stay at CBR late January 04 and have two questions:
1: Do you think I might have a good chance to get water-view close to Olde Port Royale Center Towne (Aruba?) And how best to try and get that?

2. Because of the buses traveling to all the other "islands" - would it be better for me to rent a car?

I've stayed at All-Star Sports the last times I've gone and the bus system was fine (it dropping off at Sports first where I stayed) but I'm concerned about how large CBR is and the bus ride getting very crowded and being much longer to get to and back from the parks.

Could I get any advice and tips on those two? Thanks in advance!! Ely

We were there that time last year. We got the room we wanted and it was close to Port Royal. So I would bet you can get what you asked for. Secondly, we were very successful with buses. Considering this is off peak the busses moved very quickly through the resort. Also there is something to be said for not having to drive and beind dropped off at the front gate.

If I were you I'd ask for Courtyard over water view. There isn't much water to look at but the courtyards are nice. They have a few tables and chairs and ours looked at the water. The bus system there is great as well and the time of year that you are going should be fine.
