My brother, sil and kids (10 & 8) are headed to CBR in 2 weeks. I've been giving them all kinds of unsolicited advice. :) (3 years on the DIS has to come in handy for something).

Anyway, they chose CBR and we've never stayed there. So can someone suggest the best building to request? Close to bus stop, pool, laundry.....

Any other advice about CBR would be great.

Thanks.

either...
Martinique...#s 24,25,26
Trinadad North...#s 31,32,33
Jamiaca...#s 44,45,46

map here...

to be close to the main pool/food court/bus stop...I would say building #s 25,26,31,32
those all offer a less than 5 minute walk to each...

don't forgot...that each village offers a quiet pool...
be sure to rent the boats...the kids would love them...

I suggest you check out the thread below. It has lots of good information about CBR.

Trinindad North and Martinique are the two closest buildings to Old Port Royale the food court and the main pool.

I also have a map that they give you at check in that shows the location of everything at CBR.

We were in Trinidad North this past April - building #33. We loved it there and wouldn't think twice about asking for that same location again. :Pinkbounc

Just a little info you can always request a blding closer but it doesn't always mean you get it. my dh and I stayed there in june and we made ressie 4 mths prior to arrival needless to say we were in Aruba which almost the last bldg. we are glad that we had our car to get around the resort is very big and walking to and from the food court was not my idea of fun, but they say there is an internal bus which sounded funny b/c we never saw it. The only other thing was there are 9 bus stops we were number 8 so our wait was long and the wait at the magic kingdom was long when we returned back at night . We won't stay there agian but we would go back to CS now thats a beautiful moderate. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Whenever people ask about CBR, I always give a speel (sp?) on Trinidad South. I think this island is just too far away from the main Old Port Royale... its a good 10-15 minute walk and the last thing you want to do after a day at the parks is walk another 20-30 minutes to refill your mug or grab a bite to eat. I also suggest Martinique, if you can get in there.

However, I still love CBR and would recommend staying there, no matter what island your room is in!

Just a reminder, in 2004 Martinique and Trinidad North will be preferred buildings. It will cost $15 nightly or the same as a water view extra.
