Wow, we really liked the food court at CBR. Large, airy, lots of seating and selections.
We were never there for dinner, but did have lunch there a coupleof times, each time hitting the pasta station, unfortunately pizza was our selection and we found it to be pretty good stuff. They definitely have a couple of pasta types like linguine and ziti and I think a couple of sauces, breadsticks, salad. We got the pizza combo meal and the salad was so good I didn't even bother to add dressing. Very fresh assortment of veggies. We got the breakfast platter too, skipping the meat portions and even with sharing my 6yo nephew and I didn't finish. What we did eat held us until dinner at Boma at 6pm though. We had an ice cream bar snack in between, but that was it for the day.
The Grab & Go section there is large with lots of choices too. Pre packaged sandwiches (including the kid PB&J), sushi platters, fruit and cheese platters, fresh fruit (6yo loved the sliced apples with caramel dip), tremendous fresh baked goods selection. We also took advantage of the novelty ice cream treat case (Mickey bars and Itzakadoozies in particular).
I have never been to POR so I can't complain. However, the Grab & Go, Broiler, Pasta and Deli stations provide variety. And you should be able to find seating, somethig I understand can be a challenge at some of the resorts, esp. the Deluxes.
Hopefully the kids will find something to love about CBR too.
