Please help! I have ressies for Oct8-12 at CSR. I have found out that I will be able to arrive a day early, but there are no rooms available at CSR. Should I change to CBR or Port New Orleans? Room is for me, DH, DS (13) & DD (8). Thanks in advance!

Stay the first night at POR then move to CSR the next day. (Cast members will move your luggage to CSR.) CSR has a better pool and waterslide and your kids will prefer it, but POR is a beautiful resort and has a boat to Downtown Disney, which will be fun for your whole family. It would be a great place to stay for the first night..

CSR! Great pool/slide, terrific transportation and an awesome food court! Check out my CSR website below for pics and info. Your kids will love the pool!

Another vote for CSR! Great resort with an awesome pool. The landscaping and theme put it over the top. CM's are all fantastic too!

You could save some money and stay at a value the first night, get up early and move. That is what we did when we had this problem. We stayed at ASMu our first night, then moved to WL early the next day. The All Stars would be a very short drive or cab ride to CSR and you could keep your luggage with you instead of having it moved. I'd say about $10 would get it.

Yes! Pixie dust for me. I just called and the day I needed is now available at CSR. I don't have to change resorts afterall.

Which of the moderates is the newest or more recently room rehabbed property?

Why don't people on this post prefer CBR?

CSR is the newest mod. According to buzz, it was rehabbed in 2004/2005 and will be rehabbed again beginning in Oct 2008 and part of 2009.

CBR is the biggest, oldest and doesn't have elevators.

We really like CBR. The grounds are so pretty. the only problem with it now is the rehab with the pool.

On these boards, take suggestions with a grain of salt. If you notice people suggesting the same resort over and over, look at their post history. There are some posters that 95% of their posts are suggestions for someone to stay at their favorite hotel. Always seemed kind of fishy to me.
Why, is it wrong that some of us like one resort? Because it doesn't agree with your favorite it has to be fishy? :confused3 If that's the case, there are a lot of fishy DIS'ers out there because each one has an opinion.

Posting for years with nothing but "We prefer XXX Resort". No suggestions for restaurants. No suggestions about park tips etc. Nothing but that. yes, it is fishy.

This is the only board I frequent, nothing fishy about it.

Just because you choose not to give suggestions doesn't mean the rest of us have to follow your direction. That's what most people who ask questions want, suggestions. So since you "really like CBR", I guess you're fishy too.

95% of my posts aren't about CBR are they?

I've stayed at both CBR and CSR, they are both nice resorts. My husband prefers CBR though since he doesn't like getting run down by the golf carts at CSR. It was very disturbing they way they drove those things around. I saw one nearly run over two little girls playing.

I don't know, I don't make it a habit of going around and checking everyone's past posts.
