Looks like we might not be staying at SoG after all (not my decision) and are now looking at the mods. I have no experience with any of them (can tell you loads about CR, GF, Poly, WL and AKL though) and am looking for some opinions/feedback.

I know we have been spoiled by the other resorts. And while we liked OKW when we were there, I felt like it was too big and spread out. Which resort might have the best transportation to the 4 parks?

If you a deluxe resort type of person, not sure if any of the mods will meet your tastes. CSR is said to be close to a deluxe because it has the spa, gym, coffee makers in the room but on the other hand it is a large resort. Walking dosen't bother me so I love it. It has the best pool of all the moderates and doesn't share transportation with other resorts. It is across the street from BB and is near AK. You can check out pics at my CSR website below.

Actually I was thinking CSR might be our best bet. But I'm looking for all sorts of feedback and opinions.

We stayed at CBR and loved it, but it is very spread out. We walked a good ways to get to the food court and main pool. My kids loved the pool and the food court and we had no trouble with the buses.
I would look into PO, it is smaller than the other moderates and not so spread out.

I've stayed at CSR and CBR, we really liked both, they are spread out. I think we liked CBR just a little better. We are supposed to stay at PO this trip. The only thing about CSR is that they add 10% tip to your check at the food court because they have waitstaff.

If the resort size is an issue for you you could request a section and/or building close to the restaurants and the dig site, depending on what you want. Cabanas 9B is close to both. If you like the theming of the ranchos you can use the buses to get to the restaurants and back to your room. CSR is a wonderful place to stay!!::yes::

yes, that's true but you can use the Connections Quick and Casual vouchers to save your 10%.

EXAMPLE
Each voucher is good for Lunch or Dinner for the following:

One entree, one side dish, one non-alcoholic beverage, and one dessert

-OR-

One combo meal (entree, side dish and non-alcoholic beverage) and dessert.

Pepper Market @ Coronado Springs:
Entree: Ribeye Steak, w/ potatos and Veggies: $17.95
Side: Caesar Salad: $5.99
Dessert: Ranges from $3.95 and up.
Drink: Fruit Smoothie: $3.79
Tax: $1.90. Gratuity (10%): $3.17
Total: $36.75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The vouchers only cost $17.50 or less and the Pepper Market is one of the locations the vouchers can be used at.

Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

Having stayed at CBR and CSR, I have to recommend CSR. Both resorts are nice but I just liked the overall feel of CSR much better. The grounds are prettier IMO and the pool is fantastic! Good luck deciding!!!

as far as vouchers when your meal comes with potato and veggies you can still get a salad as your side???? whats a combo meal like burger and fries??? i just started to order vouchers.:Pinkbounc :bounce:
