CBR. Convince me.

We're going to CBR for New Years and want to know we're making the right choice. Because we will be there during the holidays I'd like to know what the decorations will be like.
After saying once before at the Poly we want this to be special.

We stayed at CBR last January and were really happy with it. Loved the tropical feel (the only downside is that it was COLD this past January, so no swimming for us!) and the bright, cheery rooms.

I think a Disney holiday is special no matter what! I'm sure your past stay at the Poly was wonderful, but I don't think your stay at CBR will be any less so, and IMO, I wouldn't go into it trying to compare the two. You'll have a great time!

I stayed at the CBR last New Year's. It was a wonderful stay. The resort was decorated beautifully, have no fear. You'll find that all of WDW is decorated beautifully and uniquely. Have a magical vacation.

CBR is a gorgeous resort, no matter what time of year you're in the "world". You can't go wrong - - the rooms were refurbed last year, and the food court is nearing the completion of it's refurb as well. Basically, you'll be staying in the newest resort on property!

Can't help you in regards to the NYE decor, but I'm sure your vacation will be wonderful!

Stayed at the Caribbean Beach this summer June 24-July 5 and we had an awesome time. We were in Martinique building 26. We loved it. We didn't have to wait for the buses and the food was great. Just be prepared to know that after your day spent at the park, it's a long walk back to the buses. Besides that, you'll love your stay. Have a wonderful time.

I really enjoyed staying at CBR.. I have only stayed once but that is where we are going to stay for our honeymoon trip. I think it is well worth it!

We go to Disney World and stay on site almost every year in February. CBR is our hands down favorite resort! We stayed at the Swan last year and wished we were at CBR. The CM's are super. My kids love the pool and the food court is excellent. We love the tropical theming and spend at least one day just hanging out at the resort.

I have not stayed at CBR during the holidays but I have during the Summer and was very pleased with our accomodations. We had a king room and it was quite large. I found the resort to be comfortable and fun and the rooms larger than I had expected. With the remodeled food court area I am sure that would only make it even better.

Of course, these are pre-food court renovation, so please keep that in mind. The majority of the pictures are of the rooms, pool, grounds, etc. so those would still be the same ENJOY!!!
