I too am waiting for a call to change my reservations for CBR but am not excited about either PO or CSR. I've looked at pictures of both and neither excite me. I'm more concerned about my two sons and choosing a resort that will be exciting for them. Which of these resorts would be more exciting to two young (7 & 4) boys-the pool, playground, etc? I am willing to pay a little extra for an upgrade but not $30 or $40 a night. We were originally booked for ASMo because my oldest son wanted to stay there. We changed because I wanted to stay at a moderate. We were planning to use the boat rental, bike rental, as well as the pools, playground, and beach. Please give me words of wisdom.

Let me start with WAREAGLE!!! My husband and I are displaced southerners longing for the days of Jordan-Hare!

Anyway - I would think about CSR - our very first trip together we ended up staying there because the other mods were full - I didn't think I would like it at all, but really ended up really enjoying it. The pool area is great and they have a marina there as well. We stayed in the Cabana section and honestly we both decided that we liked it very much.

We were also booked at CBR for this September, but went ahead and moved over to AKL at our own cost for the upgrade so we wouldn't have to wait for a call - we were deciding between these two anyway from the get go. There are some great codes out now for various things - check out mousesavers.com to see if any apply for your family.

If you do stay with a moderate I would give CSR a chance - I think your boys would love the playground and pool area.

Good luck - Go Tigers!

CSR is a good choice. POR is also a good choice. There are 6 pools at POR and 1 pool at POFQ. A boat goes back and forth between POR and POFQ all day for folks who want to use the POFQ pool, which is a good one! POR has bike and boat rentals. It also has a playground, spa and fishin' hole. Your boys might really like the fishin' hole. The bayou section is great for kids and one boy could sleep on the trundle. The quiet pools are fun - lots of kids really enjoy them. POR has a sit down restaurant and a food court. Either resort you can't go wrong! :p
