I also posted this question on the families board but I think this might be a better board

For those of you who have stayed at CBR with a toddler that required a stroller, how was it getting the stroller on and off the buses?

My sister and her DS (22 months) are joining me and my DS(9yo) on our annual summer trip this year. We currently have a package booked at the Poly. We choose the Poly for the convenience of the monorail with the stroller. Well, the final payment is due this weekend and I am having a hard time justifying the cost. My DS and I stayed at CBR last year and we loved it. But I never paid attention to the stroller issue. If we switch to CBR it would be $1008 cheaper!

I have never stayed at the CBR but I do know that for all WDW busses you must break down the stroller before getting on the bus.

You cannot have your child (or anything) in a stroller and board a Disney bus. They have to be folded down. That is one big bonus of staying at a monorail resort. You can wheel that stroller right on the monorail! Much less hassle.

We just spent a week at CBR at the end of May and took our stroller to the parks everyday. While it's true that you will have to fold the stroller and hold it on the bus, how much trouble that will be really depends on the stroller. We had taken a regular stroller on our last trip and it was a real pain to deal with. This time we bought a MacLaren Quest umbrella stroller and it was worth every penny. It folds easily, has a carry handle on one side, is fairly light weight, folds down pretty small, and was very comfy for my 4yo DD. We got ours from albeebaby.com for a lot less than I could find it anywhere else - it was about $130 with free shipping and no tax. Even after spending money on a new stroller, your sister would still see a substantial savings.

All that said, tho, I would seriously consider keeping the ressie you have for the Polynesian. CBR was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there. But if we stay onsite again it will probably be at the Poly for the proximity to MK because that's where we spend most of our time.

There are times when you may have to remove your child from a stroller and fold it up when you take the monorail, too.
