CBR Activities Sheet

Does anyone have an activities sheet for CBR? Pool games, movie, etc.

I have no suggestions or help, but I have stayed at CBR twice. Both of our visits were in June. and we spent tons of time at the pool during the daytime. We never, ever saw a pool party going on at CBR. We've enjoyed the pool parties at WL, POFQ, POLY, BC, OKW, and AKL. I've read reports in the past that CBR does pool parties, but I've never witnessed them.

Hopefully someone will come along soon with a schedule. We loved this resort in the summertime, and my boys adore this pool, but they also love the pool parties. If we go back in the summer anytime soon I'd like to book a resort that I know will have daily pool parties, and movies outside at night!

i am currently sitting beside the quiet pool in Jamica at the CBR resort and and can assure you they do have daily activities at the main feature pool as well as nightly movies.

They do provide a schedule upon check in but unfortunately it is up in the room and I am drinking a beer at the pool

I will try to remember to post it in the next few days.

Thanks, that is great to know. Our visits were in June of 2009, then again in June of 2010. I know these pool parties and movies at night have become more popular at the WDW resorts over the past few years. Maybe they just weren't having them when we visited.

Its wonderful to know they are currently having them. We may take a short trip in Aug. before school starts up, and were thinking about CBR. Since we plan to spend more time at the pool than in the parks we'd love to have some fun entertainment at the pool!

Enjoy the rest of your trip! Oh, and please post that schedule when you get back home if you get a chance. I'd love to see it!

I know that the person that does our official POR thread posts them every month on the thread. You may want to check the CBR thread. Or request over there that someone post it when they go.

As someone who has been to CBR twice and studies up on things, I will be surprised to hear that they have this schedule. I've seen imprompto singings and dancings in the OPR, but never any poolside movies. Is this a new thing? If this is of great importance to you, I'm not saying I'm right about everything, but I would do more research. Maybe they do have it, I've just never seen it or heard of it. But then again, last time we went to CSR so, it's been a few years.

As PP's have stated, including myself, there are now poolside activities - they are at CBR and POR/POFQ. They started last summer.

In addition, there are now movie nights. At POR and POFQ, they are in courtyard areas. I am not sure where they are in CBR, since I haven't been there since they started.

CSR doesn't have them, because they are more oriented towards a convention resort.

Thanks for the correction -- I read your post to read that at POR they have them (which I know) and thought that the OP was asking about CBR. And yes! I did see the other poster who said something about it at CBR. I believe my post said something about movie nights, but I'm sure you're right that I was talking about poolside activities. Incidentally, my kids have participated in poolside activities at CSR (the conventioners facility) - but if you say they are not there, hey, I probably just dreamed it.

So, I checked into the CBR thread and all I could come up with is in Sept. they started doing movies at 8:30 on a screen at the bar. There are short chairs for the kids. But again, though others above don't believe research is warranted, CYOA and look into it if is important to you. I certaintly wouldn't expect you to take my word for it - it's not like you know me or anything.
I'm sure someone will post a schedule for you, it seems like there were some pretty knowledgable people above who should be able to.
If they don't come through, post your question on the official CBR site where the lady that runs it knows the answers.

I have never seen any pool parties at CBR. They might have them, but I have been totally unaware of any.
(I have stayed at CBR at least 7 or 8 times. Maybe I'm at the parks or somewhere else if these activities do exist.)

you know what instead of me typing each day I will let you know that there is activities every day from 1-5 with the pool party bash and dance party happening every day from 230-4 and the campfire every night at 5pm. I did not see where they did the campfire but it is on the schedule.

movies every night beside the pool bar starting at 7:00 pm

tues high school musical
wed gnomeo and juliet
thur bedknobs and broomsticks
fri finding nemo

I am sitting in my room at the CBR right now reading it off of the sheet so this info is current and valid.

My Recreation Activities flier is from All-Star Sports,but it will give you an idea of what the fliers look like now at the Resorts.

Also,all WDW resorts now have Recreation Activities/Movies.Pop Century was the last Resort to come "online".

CBR is also making a little beach campfire and giving the kids wooden sticks. They have all the ingredients for s'mores. Very cute and fun. And so unlike Disney. I was very impressed.
