Our Military TA made this reservation and I'm hoping that someone can confirm that it will mean we will be assigned a ground floor room.
Room Type: Standard View. Florida special accessible room with option for hearing accessibility. 2 queen beds
Two of us will be renting an ECV and one has hearing challenges. The ground floor is frankly more important than the hearing impaired. Thanks for any help.

I copied this from the disABILITIES FAQs thread for you:

There are a lot of questions about Florida Special Accessible Room/Option for Hearing Accessibility - this is from the Disney website

This room is equipped with toilet grab bars, an open bed frame and lower toilet height. A portable raised toilet seat is available upon request. Optional communication features for Guests with Hearing Disabilities include: visual alarm; visual door knock/door bell alert; visual telephone call alert; a telephone with volume control; and electrical outlet near telephone jack. TTY equipment is available upon request at check-in.

Because there are mobility accommodations in those rooms, they should be on the ground floor (I have not heard of them being on higher floors).

Since you are dealing with a travel agent, have your travel agent check to confirm. The TA actually owns/controls the reservation until shortly before you arrive, so they would need to do the checking for you.
