A good friend is going down in Nov (I just found out yesterday that she had booked her trip. I hadn't seen her since June when I suggested that she book before the end of the month for the FT package and I am glad that she did.)

She is taking her daughter, Son in law and her three grandkids. She is staying at the CBR and I was wondering what building she should stay in that would be fairly close to everything.

I was also wondering if anyone knew of a website for a map of the place that I can print out and give to her. We were just there a week ago but I didn't bring any park maps back. I was all set to call my sister who is there this week to ask her to pick some up when my young son came up with some. So I would like to give her the maps of the parks and the map of the resort so she can figure out where she is going.

Thanks for all the help
Dona

Donac, I suggest you check out the CBR FAQ thread listed below. You will find all types of suggestions for room locations.

I also have a map of CBR that you are given at check in up on my web site. You can download it and print the larger version.

If you have any more questions, I suggest you post in the CBR FAQ and you will find lots of people that have stayed there that can help with your questions.

Hi, Dona! :)

There's a great thread right here on the Resorts Board you should check out: safetymom's CBR FAQ thread. Be sure to check out the links in safetymom's sig.

This is the map I used to print out: CBR map. I had to save it as a .bmp file and insert into a Word document in landscape mode to get the whole map.

I've never stayed here before but I requested a room close to Old Port Royale for my upcoming trip. OPR is the center of activity (food court, shops, etc). When I made my reservation the CM told me that beginning next year they are going to call these rooms "preferred" and charge $15 more for them. The closest buildings are Martinique #26 & 25 and Trinidad North #31.

EDIT: I see safetymom posted a reply while I was busy typing. ;)
