CB for a honeymoon

We just booked our honeymoon yesterday..and we picked CB
The last time I was there was in 94....
Has anyone ever said there and did anyone like it?? Tell me what you think!!

I stayed there in 92, but my friend honeymooned there and she loved it! The castmembers even sent them a cake and balloons!

It is a beautiful resort and I think you will truly enjoy it for your honeymoon.

The only suggestion I have is to request or book a king bed!

Do you think that when we get there we should tell them we are on our honeymoon?? Or is that a stupid idea??

Hi Erin,

My DH and I honeymooned at CB in December of 2000. Aside from the Christmas carols being played on a calypso (sp?) drum, it was wonderful!

We would come back from a full day in the parks, relax in a hammock with a fruity drink and watch the fireworks over Epcot. You couldn't see all of them, but it was very nice.

I would tell them when you book the room that it is your honeymoon. The room they gave us was tucked back into a little corner, away from a lot of the kids. We didn't get any cake or anything, but they did arrange our bride and groom ears in the window real cute! We didn't book a honeymoon package and just booked through our travel agent, maybe that is why we didn't get the cake. But no loss!

It is a very romantic setting and you will really enjoy it!

Hi Erin,

We stayed at CB way back in 94 for our honeymoon. We loved it! This was our first on site stay and hubby's first real time to Disney since he was like 4 or something. We did not get any special treatment but we had a room tucked way, way, way back. NO KIDS!! It was a nice private location but a long walk to the main building. We loved walking on the beaches and laying in the hammocks.

We have since moved up and tried the deluxes and now we are spoiled. Hubby will not go any other way. Our next big trip will be concierge, and I KNOW after that there will be no turniing back.
