Caylee Anthony Doll.

Creepy.

And I do see why the guy didnt want one to look exactly like Caylee, but I see no resemblance between the two and its weird for me. Its not even a cute doll. And did the guy who made it ask permission to do that? If I was Caylee's grandparents (or actually now I'm not even sure about them anymore) or other family members, I wouldnt have agreed to that.

:sad2:
That is disgusting. It is very much so morbid. If you want to remember Caylee, why don't you donate that $30 to a foundation in Caylee's name that helps with the searches of missing children?

Oh my God. I don't think I could sleep if that was in my room.

i gotta say its a little creepy but the doll is cute but i dont think they had to name it after her? i mean after what happened to her, but i guess it's good for marketing the doll?? still a little creepy though

Unsettling.
And I agree with Sonya. If what happened to her upset you, donate to a cause that can help find kids, or that's for the prevention of domestic abuse.

Making a doll about a little girl you never even knew? Just. Not right.

What the hell? Just... what? That's awful.

Asked about whether it's appropriate for his company profit on Caylee's death, Salcedo said he is anticipating critics.

"I think that that is going to come up," he said.

Salcedo said the public does not understand what it costs to make the doll, ship it, import it, and his company's expenses.

lol way to dodge the question. No one knows or cares what their overhead is, because it doesn't friggin' matter. They're profiting off this family's tragedy and it's pretty dang sick. There's no way you can justify that. (Well, there are ways to justify making a doll like that, but since they're obviously not USING any of them, the point is moot.)

if i didn't know about economics, i'd think it was a nice (albeit creepy and awkward) gesture.

but he's saying they're charging 30 dollars for the generic looking doll in a t-shirt. (caylee had BROWN hair didn't she?) and he's thinking about donating all of three whole dollars to a foundation. that leaves 27 that is going where? back to his pocket.

if this was done as a fundraiser/donation, i'd support it whole heartedly. but that man is profiting off of a horribly slain child. and thats not okay.

What a sad world we have become when man profits off a slain toddler.
Sick, sick, sick.
:sad2:

i really dont find it that sick. -shrug- its a doll and it doesnt look anything like her. they made princess diana dolls when she died and that wasnt a big deal.
-shrug- maybe im just a little "whatev" about it because im not creeped out by dolls.

honestly, i think its a little weird way to remember her, maybe creating a keepsake glass yellow flower or something like that would have been better. but i guess they wanted something that reflected her innocence and childhood that a doll would capture. the world is so involved with this case that im surprised something like this hasnt popped up before.
