Hi. We have found a lovely villa at Windor Hills that we want to book for 21 nights next year. Two families are going and over
lapping our 2 week stays so we are all together for the middle week.

I found the villa online. The family have several villas and townhouses. Very friendly and helpful replying to my many questions!

However, I am nervous to pay 20% deposit via PayPal when i cannot be sure if they are genuine. I know I have to trust the owner just as they would have to trust me but I feel a little concerned about giving over so much money on the basis of a few online pics.

Does PayPal offer any protection?

Any advice?

Thanks
Mandy :)

PayPal gives you a level of protection, but it's not something I'd want to rely upon for a transaction of this nature.

I agree. the owner asks for PayPal though. Is a credit card better?

Thanks for your reply.

You can opt to use your c/c on paypal can't you??

We booked a TH at WH off VRBO for 21 nights last December. There is a certain amount of trust involved. Do they have a guest book you can read?

The only other thing I did was check on the kissimmee property site that the people renting out the property actually owned it (always a good thing).

Everything went well & we are going back in October - hope you do too.
