So right now I am so tired! My feet are numb from the all walking and standing in line. MY tummy hurts from all the candy we bought. My head hurts from all the new and fun things we did. I am exhausted from all horrible heat. Not that I wasn't expecting the heat, it's just I had hoped that my prayers would be answered for December weather in July. The strollers. The people who don't know anything about english. The people who don't realize what a "single rider line" is.
And where else but WDW can you find all this wrapped into one place?

Okay I am done ranting and raving right now. Let me do a quick intro on who went and where and all that stuff.

Who? Me(Lizzy) and my mom(let's call her DM). We left my dad at home for this day. LOL

Where? EPCOT

When? Well long story short, from about 9:30am to about 5:00pm.

Why? Because it needed to be done.

How? We drove. For a while.

Okay and now let's start with the actual report!

LEt me start by saying that yesterday I went to sleep around 6pm. It's safe to say that I was so very tired.
DM came into my room around 6:30am and said "Hey you still wanna go to EPCOT today?"



Ummmm let me think about that......YEAA!!!!
Like I really needed to think about that!
So I jumped outta bed and got ready and packed my backpack and posted on the Disboards(hehe) and we were all set.
But now it was 7:30am. I wanted to leave at 7am in case we hit morning traffic in Orlando. We just decided to hope for the best and try not to get too mad if we didn't make it at exactly park opening(9am).


Well it was pretty nice along the way. We stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got some breakfast to start us off for the great day ahead. Because we were off to Disney!

We did hit traffic once we started to get towards Orlando. It took us 20 minutes to get out of traffic and by then it was 8:50am. We knew we couldn't make it there in 10 minutes and that was okay with us. We weren't gonna let that ruin our day.

It wasn't long before I saw this sign:

We were definetly jumping in our seats now.

Then we saw this great sign!

Okay I will admit something...........WE GOT LOST! Ahhhhhh!
But not to worry, the WDW map was with us through the thick and thin!
So we made it!!!

It was only about 9:20am when we arrived to it wasn't too crowded or hot. But it still was a little crowded and warm.

So where will we go first?? Soarin!
We went to go get fastpasses so we wouldn't have to wait that long wait.(at 9:30am, the line was 40 minutes)
Our fastpass returns were between 11:45am and 12:45am. Great times!

We then went to Mission Space.

Wait time for green:5minutes
Wait time for orange:10 minutes

Since we already have done green side, we tried to do the orange side.
I'll admit that I was scared (a litte) about the take off, but it ended up being so much fun!!
I think that it is a must-do!

After our great ride to mars, we went next door to test track.

Stand by:40minutes
Single rider:10minutes
Now I have never done single rider before. DM did single rider once a long time ago for Rock N Rollercoaster. But hey a 10 minute waits beats a 40 minute wait!
I don't know who DM sat with? But I sat with a very nice family and another single rider guy.(from Spain I believe?) They were very nice, but I did feel like I was sort off imposing on there family ride? I don't know if I would ride single rider line unless I had to. Great experiance though and as always awesome ride! Another

AHHH... sounds like fun!! I wish i could go back NOW!! but i went in December so...its only been 6 months since i have gone but im on a disney craving NOW!!

After Test Track we headed over to Innoventions to try out a newer ride.

The Sum Of All Thrills!

As many people on here probly know, I was scared to ride. Well not scared, just nervous of the unknown.
Well it was about a 40 minute wait. Our feet already were hurting but we decided to wait. It actually was about a 20 minute wait so not that bad. We got to our design area and had about a 230 foot drop and only 2 times we went upside down. It was called "Blazing Eagle". LOL

We weren't sure what to expect because we thought a 230 foot drop would be scary, but we gave it a try anyways! I am glad we did because it was cool!...and tame! It felt like Thunder Mountain! We decided that we should try to come back later and amp it up!

Now we were onto Soarin because it was around 12pm.

Thank the good lord we got fastpasses!! It was a 75 minute wait!!!
We just breezed on through with a 2 minute wait.
Thanks to the magical fastpasses
We were placed in way on the left on the 3rd row.
As always this ride was great!
My favorite part is when they show the downtown night lights(IDK where it is maybe New York?) and the beach and surfer dudes.

Next we walked over to the boat. We decided to take the boat over to Morroco and eat lunch there. Well it took a little bit longer than anticipated because the castmembers had to wait for there relief. I was hot, sweaty and hungry and did not wanna wait. And plus the boat didn't have AC.
UGH!
But we made it to the Tangerine Cafe and it was fairly quiet which was good.

Both me and DM got a chicken flat wrap. It was pretty good.

It was a great place, very clean, and nice people. I don't know if I would eat there again though. The food was good and it was a new experiance, so don't get me wrong on that, but it just isn't my cup of tea. It is something that I think you should try at least once though!
We got some dessert that was good(again it was very different than what American desserts are). I didn't get a picture of it but mine was some sort of bread/cake with yummy strawberries on top. DM got a triangular dessert that had a lot of yummy brown sugar on it.

After lunch, we walked around the rest of the world. We walked over to Japan:

We looked through all the candy and got some candy for the family.
I got some gummys and these koala bears.
My mom got some apple gummys.
We got my sister pocky sticks.
And we got my dad these flavored hard candys.
I will post pictures of them later and they are all very good.
We looked in this museum of anime and it was pretty cool and quiet. Very nice after being in the heat.

Next was the American Pavillian:

We got some pins from a little cart outside.
I will post the pictures of them later.
We saw that the next show was starting soon so we went inside. We looked at the little museum in there and it was very cool.(We had already seen the museum once before).

After seeing the show and everything we went to Italy:

was sum of all thrills worth it? my friends who went in june said it was sooo fun but they said the wait was like 5 minutes long not 40!

yea they were like "it's not fair!" For me it was fair.
But we brought them back stuff so it wasn't that bad.
Okay thanks! yea I think you spelled it right.
It is ONLY worth it if you do the highest drop(which is 400ft) and the highest amounth of loops(4). A lot of people think that the 400 ft drop would be horrible and scary but it's not! (And we are not coaster people at all!)
I would wait for it if it's your first time riding, but if you have rode it before, then I'd skip it unless the line was 5-10minutes.

Yea but the heat was horrid! Yea I will have to go in the single rider line when I go on TOT, because no one else wants to do TOT with me.
I think you should try it! It's kinda weird, but IDK some people like it moe than others!

Hopefully when i go to disney [in 2 days!!] tht it won't be too hot. & I still find TOT kinda scary so I wouldn't do single rider for that, but i would for TT.

Okay last I left off we were in Italy.
We saw that they had a pizzeria. Mmmmm It sounded/smelled so good. But we had just ate, so we decided to walk around instead.
They had some construction going on:

Maybe a new restraunt? New shops?
We also saw some performers putting on a funny version of "Romeo and Juliet". It was very funny and you should definetly try to see this show!
In Italy they have a shop that has perfumes in it. They smelled so good. Just a little hint if you want to buy a gift for someone or yourself.

Next was Germany:

They have very neat shops in here!
They have a crystal shop, a food/candy shop, they also have a Christmas shop. One shop we went into had little pieces of chocolate(about 50 cents a piece). So we decided to each take a few and sample them.
I didn't like the yogurt chocolate or the dark chocolate. BUT the cornflake chocolate was so good. I will probly get a whole bar next time we go.

Right then we decided to sit down and figure what we were going to do.
We wanted to leave around 5pm so that we wouldn't get home too late.
But right now we still had about two hours until 5pm.
We decided to also skip the other countries and head straight to Sum Of All Thrills again. So we could do a bigger roller coaster and then see if it's worth it!

I tried to get some pictures...

The line was about 30 minutes long. We waited.
Our next roller coaster had a 400ft drop and 4 loops!
It was called "Steel Mountain"

Let's just say that it was great!!
We are not coaster people, but this was so awesome!
I would say that it was worth the wait!!


But sadly, now it was time to leave.
We stopped right outside Spaceship Earth and saw this:

Yea....speechless.

Well from here on it gets boring, because it's the journey home.
So I shall leave here!

Yeah i prefer PureLife water.
The cm really get into the acting for the ride so they make it kind of scary, I usually sit in the back row

oh yeah they are really good, but I haven't had them in forever.
I usually have Zephyrhills.
I'll just remember....it's disney....it's just a ride....it'll be fine!
I would die...I would be in shock that they'd have to carry me off the ride.
