Caution: Casey's Cheese

A word of caution about the hot cheese at Casey's. I know the dispenser says Caution: Hot. I read it and was careful. I set the containers down in the middle of the table and told all 3 children the cheese was very hot and do not touch until I say. I looked down and looked up to see DD5 grab the little cup of cheese and get it all over her hands, giving her some not nice burns I hadn't put them far enough out of her reach and she didn't want to wait, my fault. So just beware and keep those cups out of your kids reach! The staff was wonderful about getting us some ice and directing us where to get some antibiotic ointment(I already had some )

Thanks for the warning, in case we ever end up eating there. I have 2 sons who will be 3 and 5 on our next trip so this is good to know. I also would like to commend you for holding yourself accountable for what happened. Many parents don't do that and just look to point a finger at someone else. But as we all know, accidents sometimes happen and it doesn't make anyone a bad parent, just human. So I think you are a wonderful person for stepping up to the plate! I hope your little one is feeling better!
