Cats and Laser Pointers

Sorry if this has already been mentioned

Try turning out all of the lights and pointing the laser pointer into a cut lead crystal vase. Beautiful!
Heck, I think I like it more than the cat!

The water takes forever to get hot in the shower. So I'll lay in bed and point the laser into the back of the shower and the cat goes nuts jumpjng on the tile wall to get it, even if she's getting soaked. She went nuts with all the wrapping paper on the floor, and kept trying to get buried underneath it again.

Mylaser pointer looks like those little toy guns. If you push the thingie on the back it points the laser, if you pull the trigger, it shocks you. Every one falls for it when they want to play with the cat.

My cat isn't. He realizes where it's coming from and can't be bothered.

Dogs on the other hand? My lab used to run into the wall chasing that thing!

My yellow lab, Max, used to love playing with the laser too. It was so funny, it got to where we could just pick up a pencil and point it at the floor and he'd run around trying to find it, so he could play with the "light fairy"

Other than that, his favorite thing was when we'd settle down for the night to watch tv, he'd get his duck and stand in the front of the tv and squeek it at us. That and going "Bye-bye"

oh my god, I think we have more fun laughing at Phil (my cat) with the laser than Phil does playing with it!!

He goes insane!!! Then when we put it away, he'll sit in the same spot that he last saw the laser, staring, for over an hour!

It's actually almost cruel if you think about it....


The funny thing is if we shine it on the dog, he won't go near it!
