Cath's trip report - Day 8 – Don't rain on my parade!!!

Who’s Who

Me – Cath, 32
DH – Tony, 34
DS1 – Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 – Christopher, 3 years 11 months

We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6

Today we have dinner booked at Crystal Palace at 4pm, so it will be MK today. We opt to arrive just in time for the afternoon parade.

In the morning we first go to Church – then pop into the Premium Outlets next door for a wee look. Wal*Mart next for some supplies. We have a quick lunch in the villa, then we go to MK.

We arrive just in time to grab a spot for the parade – not the best, but it’s ok – Town Square, very near the gate at the end of the parade!! About ¾ of the way through the parade the heavens open - everyone ran for cover, but the parade continued as usual!!!

After the parade we drip off the Crystal Palace for our dinner – we have a great time. Food is very nice and characters are great. Kids have a ball as usual!!!

Haunted Mansion is our first stop after dinner – another first for us. It was such good fun, we also do Peter Pan, Small World, TTA, Buzz (twice) and yes, you’ve guessed it, more Mad Hatter Tea Cups, not just once, but twice.

Time for Spectromagic – we get a spot in Town Square. This is my favourite parade – I just love it. Kids are overawed by it all I think.

After Spectro we decide to head for home – DS2 does not like fireworks!!

Another fantastic day – each day is better than the day before!!!
