Hi Everyone,

We will be in one of the Deck 5, Cat 7, Navigator Verandah rooms in the aft

We will not know the actual room number until check in on Sept 18th.

Any of you out there been in one of these rooms? Any concerns/comments are appreciated.

THANKS!!!!!!! :)

No concerns from me at all! I have been in #5132 the past two cruises -- a Navigator's veranda stateroom on the port side, deck 5 aft. AWESOME location, especially if you have kids. I have a little boy, and as much back-and-forth as we did between our room and the Oceaneer Club, I found it very, very handy to just be down the hallway.

Other plusses: You are aft of the aft lifts, and it is very quiet -- no hallway traffic except for other people going to their rooms.

It is so convenient to the restaurants and such -- straight down one to Animator's Palate, straight down two to Parrot Cay. Straight up on the aft lifts to Topsider's, the Mickey Pool, Scoop's, and the beverage station.

Your muster station for the lifeboat drill is in Animator's Palate. You get to sit in air-conditioning instead of sweating out on a deck. :)

And lastly, the Navigator's veranda staterooms are just so nice!!! You will love it. I wish I could afford it for this next cruise, but the $$ just wasn't there. Maybe I'll hit the lottery between now and then and get "my stateroom" back. :) :)

Have a great cruise!!

We also had 5132 last July, my sister had it a couple of years before that and we have it rebooked for next Sept!!!
Loved it! Loved deck 5!!! Not as many cabins as the other decks so we really enjoyed it!!!

I have 5132 on my back to back starting Sept 25 !!

Haven't stayed in one on Deck 5, but we've been in a Navigator's veranda twice before and have one booked for our Dec. 2004 cruise. We love them. As Gina pointed out they are convenient to everything!

why won't you know the room number till you check in?Just wondering! Still didn't get my docs yet, but according to the info I got when I called, I think we may be right by you.

I am travelling with my sister who is a CM.....on past cruises we didn't even know the cat# until check in.

Thanks everyone for the input

Hope to see you there Ez! :)

Plus, we have a regular verandah next door - 5130. Hope our muster station is the same. It will be the first time INSIDE. Didn't even realize they did inside drills.
I'll post about both rooms when we return. Looking forward to our 1st time with the Navigator's Ver.

I always get Deck 5 AFT - verandah for our cruises, but our first cruise we did try the Navigator's Verandah. I prefer the verandah since you can see through the plexiglass.
