Don't flame me but I have two ressies for the FL-CA cruise. One is a Category 4 -room 8552 - for me, DH and our 3 wee ones. That one came to 10,569.45 w/out transfers or insurance.

We have been trying to get hold of MIL to see if she wants to go with us, in which case we would need two adjoining category 9's. That reservation is $9690 (for the SIX of us), rooms 2138 and 2140. What I am wondering now is- even if MIL does not go, would I be better off with more space in adjoining 9's (for $1000 less), or would I really miss the veranda of my Cat. 4?

We have only done a 3 day cruise in a Cat. 5- we go on another 3 day Cat. 6 on the 27th.

Thoughts appreciated!

Hi we booked the 2 Cat 9's ($10,554.45) rooms 7504 & 7506 and the price was actually more than the Cat 4 ($10,264.45 no air, transfer or insurance). We did 2 Cat 9's this past February with the Grandparents and it was great. We had previously cruised 7 days Cat 5 two rooms. We are hoping to convince 2 more family members who haven't been with us yet to come along to help defray the cost! ;)
