Nassau catamaran and snorkeling through disney--how is this--would kids 7 and 10 like this? Is it worth the money? Is lunch offered or do we need to go back to the ship? Thanks

I didn't do this excursion through Disney, but we just did a catamaran snorkel excursion last week on our NCL cruise. My boys are 8 and 10 and they LOVED it!! My 10 year old is NOT a big fan of small boats, but he really overcame that fear on this trip and truly had a great time snorkeling (we snorkeled with sea turtles and then snorkeled a shipwreck). The catamarans were much bigger than I expected. Fun Fun Fun!!!

We did the catamaran sail and snorkel and had a great time. At the time, ds-12 and niece -12 really enjoyed it. Nephew was 7 and loved the ride but didn't really care to snorkel. I think he was just being difficult though. Sorry nephew!!!

Timing for this was great. We were back around 1 for lunch, got cleaned up, went into Nassau for a few hours and back for spa appointment at 5.

What is the ladder like on the catermaran snorkel trip with Disney in Nassau?

I want to say that the DCL excursion had about 30 people on ours. I'm not sure which ladder you mean getting on or getting into the water.

The ladder going into the water is near the net at the front of the catamaran. You go down part of it, at the bottom you put on you flippers and then into the water. It is a little tricky getting back up, just because I was pretty tired. They will help.

They did mention going over the side if you did want to get into the water faster.

I can not remember how we originally got on the boat. I think they just help you "over".
