Just thought I would post this, I have been using this site for a couple of years now, at first I was a little skeptical but did some research and it does what it says it does.............www.igive.com. It's a site that has hundreds of catalogs on it which donate to one of charitible causes. You can sign up for free and choose a charity that you want a percentage of your purchases to go to. Each company has a different percentage, and nothing comes out of your pocket. When I ordered my IPOD I ordered it through applestore.com and 2% of my purchase price went to the Humane Society. I actually wrote the Humane society that I had chosen (in my community) to find out if they actually got a check from igive.com and they do. The site also tells you how much was given in your name. I just thought with the holidays coming and people doing more and more online shopping it maybe a way to donate without actually doing it yourself. At least take a look at it. I have had no problems with the site at all and you can actually visit "the mall" to see what merchants are on their list. A lot of times many of them also have free shipping excetra.
