Cat with urinary tract infection question

DVCindy - I'm no expert but I'd say if the over-the-counter stuff is working for your cat, stick with it. If he has any more problems then you may want to consider the prescription diet. I think the dry is fine as long as the cat is drinking enough and I've always thought dry was better for their teeth.

Maybe Doc will chime back in and give us her much-more-educated opinion.

Ella - how's Mario this morning?

Mario is a little lethargic today from the painkillers, but it sure made giving him his medication easy. The kids and I bought him a cat bed on Sunday, which DH said was a waste of money because he would never use it. Well, guess where Mario is now and where he spent the night?!

We're waiting for the analysis from the stones to find out what to feed him now, but the vet says she'll probably recommend something meat based and high in protein to help with his weight problem.
