Okay...that adorable little Candi of mine is for sale. Any takers???? I can't believe what she has done and if anyone has any ideas I would love to have them.
About two weeks ago, I had been gone on a weekend day. DH was home alone with the cat. Said cat was upstairs with the run of the house basically. A few days later I go to water my HUGE, I am not exaggerating, Poinsetta plant and about half of the branches, with nice strong and green leaves, were laying all over the floor near the plant. All I could think of was she had eaten alot of the leaves and she was gonna be really sick (I know it can hurt them if they eat A LOT of the leaves, I have checked on this). So I asked dh if he had seen her near the plant and he hadn't. So the next day, dh happened to catch her - get this - SHE WAS JUMPING INTO THE PLANTER AND LAYING ON THE PLANT!!!!! Little - word inserted here that I shouldn't say on the boards - !!! Well she has kept at it to the point that my plant is almost all gone. I have had this Poinsetta for 8 years and it has been a pride of mine to be able to keep it alive and to see it bloom without having to put it dormant or anything. This is just really killing me. (I know, there are worse things in the world but this plant meant alot to me)
So last night as she is terrorizing my plant I was on the phone with a friend. She suggested putting aluminum foil in the planter because cats hate touching it. Well, guess who tried to get the foil out of the planter this morning.....you probably got it!!!!! UGH
So besides crucifying the cat for Easter....does anyone have any suggestions. And the little snot then tried to suck up to me last night and this morning by snuggling up and rubbing against my leg. I wanted to boot her across the room so bad......and I'm generally not an evil person!!!!
