I am so happy to see the deal is done between Cat Cora and Disney. I know this has been in the works for some time. I met Cat when she came to my store for a book signing and she was delightful. I really hope this does well for both her and Disney, regardless of how people feel about Spoodles closing.

I like Cat Cora too. I have a lot of respect for her as a chef. She is the only woman Iron Chef and I think she brings an interesting flair to Mediterranean cuisine! I wasn't too thrilled with Spoodles when I ate there so I say bring it on Cat and Disney

I had never heard of Cat Cora before now. Don't get the Food Channel.


I think it is great that all four of their children come from the same sperm donor father. And it it is cool that she and her partner carry each other's embryos! But I wonder why they didn't just carry their own.

I like the fact it is going to be Disney owned and operated. It seems lately the trend has been to outsource management to a third party.
