Can anyone tell me whether all these cabins sleep 4 people or are some only for 3?

We were in cabin 2068 on the Wonder (I think the layout is identical on both ships) and it only slept 3.

Some cabins have a bunk bed that folds up into the ceiling. This makes it a cabin that sleeps 4. If there are pipes, electrical cables, etc. in the ceiling so that they couldn't build in a bunk bed in that cabin, it will be a cabin that sleeps only 3.

Your room steward will raise/lower the bunk if needed.

Come cat 9 on deck 2 sleep 3, others sleep 4.

Most of the Cat. 9 rooms sleep 4 with the pull down bunk. If you are booking for 4 people, they will place you in a room with the bunk

Thank you all. I currently have 2 cabins booked for 2010, but with the drop in the dollar/pound exchange rate, I was thinking we might have to squash all four of us into one cabin, to save money. Is there any way I can tell whether particular cabin numbers sleep 3 or 4? So I can find out if the ones I have already booked sleep 4. Then I could change the booking just before paying the balance if necessary. But if they only sleep 3, I would have to book a different cabin and there might be none left sleeping 4. I suppose I'll have to ask the travel agent to find out for me.

From what I know, most of the cat 9 on deck 2 sleep 3 people. We are 4 people and wanted to be on deck 2, but are now booked on deck 1. From our research, all of the deck 2 room that sleep 4 are either forward or aft. Nothing mid ship. We like mid ship so we are on deck 1.

If you are booking for 4 people, they will specifically put you in a cabin that holds 4. If you are booking 2 or 3, they will try to place you in a cabin that holds 3 (leaving the 4 person cabins for a family who might need it). You should have seen them howl the time I specifically asked for a 4 person cabin when there weren't 4 of us (DD wanted the bunk bed!)

Another thought on saving money...you could do a 9 with an 11 across the hall...or get a better rate by going with a 9 and a 12 gty. It is sometimes possible to book a cat 12 at the same rate (or even less) than adding people to a nicer cabin.
