Have a category 9 reserved for 4/30/05 and going to put down deposit on my lunch hour today... should I be concerned with the location on deck 1 or 2 ... is it worth the extra to book cat. 8?

Thanks!

We stayed in category 9 on deck 2 and it was fine. No problems at all. We had room 2618 and it was very quiet. I would stay there again.

We love Deck 2. Been there twice, going again in June! You are within stair distance of the restraunts and theaters (except, of course, Palo), and are close to the disembarkation exits. This is key, because the elevators can be a bit of a pain (kids like to play on them, they get full, and they can take a bit of time to get to your floor).

Deck 2 is the best value, IMHO!

We were in 2618 also. My only suggestion would be to look for the rooms out of the noise zone. For example thru 2626 but not farther aft on deck 2. I know there is a thread somewhere or a web page on the "noisy rooms". I think it may be at www.castawayclub.com

Good luck and enjoy your trip.
