Cat 7 verandah?

Can anyone help me understand the difference between a cat 6 verandah and a cat 7 ??? Thanks

The Cat 6 have an open verandah. Most have the plexiglass bottom. All have two chairs and a small table. I think they are all on deck 6, maybe some on 5.


The Cat 7 have a more enclosed verandah. The bottom is metal, the top is metal with a large porthole cut into it (oval on the Wonder, round on the Magic) to let in plenty of air and light. They have one padded chair, a small wood table, and a padded bench along one wall. They are found on decks 7, 6, & 5. There were a few Cat 6's that have a partial obstruction and have been classified as Cat 7 as well.

Cat 7 is also not midship. They will all be aft.
