CAT 6 or 8? Deck 6 or 7? 6122 ? 6622 ? Secret Deck? HOT Tips???

Trying to decide what cat/deck/room to get.......

6122? 6622?

or is it really better to get an "anonymous" mid room (cat 6)????n ie -are the middle ones noisy - or great for their location to everything???

I imagine Front of ship is farthest from most things!? Think Mid to Aft might be best????

How's the access to secret deck on 7?
If we STAYED on Deck 7 in a Cat 8 --- we could go there to read & enjoy the breeze, just like a verandah!!!!!

Any other HOT tips, we might not think of?

Hot tip.. book as early as possible.

We have stayed in 6550 which is mid ship, great to get to the kid clubs which is one level below.

My opinions: Book as far aft as possible..Deck 6 is great, only staterooms above you.....Deck 7 aft deck- LOVE IT ...Spend lots of time there...I love these decks, they are middle ground for me. Never really need an elevator, walk up to 9 to swim, down to 3 and 4 to eat...Great....I agree with booking as early as possible, and try to get insurance...A great place is the sticky for FAQ's at the top of the page, lots of useful info..

Have crusied on Disney 4 times and have always stayed on deck 6 aft. First and third 6624. Second 6640. Fourth (eastbound repo) 6641. DW and I going in September and staying in 6624. Love the proximty to everything

Another deck 7 aft fan....just don't count on the 'secret' verandah always being available to you. They hold special events there (vow renewal/weddings, kids club activities), so it's not always available...but when it is...SWEET!

We will be in 6624 on our cruise as well. By the way is that a CH 46 as your avatar? DH is a retired rotorhead.

We were in 6120 on the Wonder and it was so great we booked the same cabin for our next cruise (just 2 weeks away ) We figured why mess with a good thing!

It was centrally located and reasonably quiet.

Now, here's where I show my ignorance...it's on the "good" side of the ship..facing forward, the left - I know there's some technical term but it's late and I'm drinking wine - anyway, we always had a view of the action when we were docked. I would assume 6122 would be the same. Of course, from what I understand, they don't always dock on the same side so my theory may be totally blown but I'm taking my chances with 6120 again anyway!

DH and I just back from 3 days on the Wonder and we stayed deck 7 room 7556 and LOVED it. It was our first cruise EVER. We booked a 7 night Eastern Caribbean for Feb 07(while on the Wonder) and reserved the same room. It was midship and easy walk to the 9th and 10th decks for swimming and partying and easy walk down the stairs to all the dining and shows deck 3 and deck 4. My pick deck 7.
