Is it really worth it for the extra square footage betw these two???

We had a Cat 8 last time & go along "ok". Want the Verandah this time, but not sure if the extra space is worth $200 ????

There is no extra square footage in a category 5 room vs. a cat. 6. The rooms are identical. The only difference is that category 5 rooms are on deck 7, while 6's are on decks 5 and 6.

Save the money and get a category 6 on deck 6. Unlike a Caribbean hotel, I've never seen much of a difference in view from being on deck 7 versus being on deck 6. And they ARE exactly the same size.

Actually, I prefer the Cat. 6 staterooms because I like being as close to the water as possible, and those are the lowest staterooms with verandahs. I'd take a Cat. 6 on Deck 5 over a Cat. 5 any day!
